
For my senior project, we were assigned to use graphic design to help address a social issue. I chose to focus on the miscommunication between the police and communities of color. I designed FairPlay, an organization helping police officers and students of color engage in positive interactions through the beautiful sport of basketball.
LOGO
FairPlay logo is essential to the company's branding. It represents unity, equality, trust, and respect through a mutual handshake. It depicts a blue hand representing police officers and a brown hand representing minority communities.




BRANDING
The Branding Book helps to explain the visual identity of the company. It includes guidelines regarding the company's logo, colors, typography, photos, and more.




BROCHURE
The Brochure's intent was for local gyms, schools, and precincts within five boroughs of New York City. In addition, it shares information about the company, its values, and upcoming events and locations.



POSTER
The posters intent was for local bus stops and subways station within five boroughs. If interested, one could register online by visiting the website provided.



ILLUSTRATION
The illustrations were geared towards a younger audience, and to help emphasize messages. The characters are colorful and assisted in storytelling as a visual element.
